Prof. Tom Ryan started his martial arts career in Tae Kwon Do in 1972. He Received his Black Belt in 1973. After training in many martial arts, he discovered Danzan-Ryu Jujitsu. He has been persuing that art ever since.
He is a first degree Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do, nidan in the American Judo and Jujitsu Federation, a sandan in Danzan-Ryu Jujitsu, a sandan in USA Ju-Jitsu Federation, and holds the title of Renshi from Professor Kufferath's Okugi class of 1993. He is a certified Okazaki Restorative Massage therapist and received his instructor's certificate to teach Okazaki Restorative Massage in 1987.
Tom is the founder and sensei of Palmetto Jujitsu Academy and Healing Arts Center.
