The American Judo and Jujitsu Federation

American Judo and Jujitsu Federation (AJJF) - Founded in the early 1950's by four Okazaki students: Bud Estes, Richard Rickerts, John Cahill and Ray Law. This is probably the largest one of the DZR orgs. It's current leadership is Lamar Fisher, 10th dan and Jane Carr 6th dan. It is based in the northern California area.

The American Judo and Jujitsu Federation (AJJF) is probably the largest of the Danzan-Ryu organizations. After four students of Professor Okazaki left Hawaii and settled on the mainland, they established schools and began teaching Jujutsu. These four, John Cahill, Bud Estes, Ray Law, and Richard Rickerts wished to help fulfill Master Okazaki's dream of having a Danzan-Ryu Jujutsu school, in every state of the union. They founded the AJJF, which was incorporated as a non-profit State of California corporation on May 21, 1958.

The current Senior Professor is Lamar Fisher and they have a WWW Homepage.
